Job description
First point of contact for technical questions from fiber optic installers
Professional management and further development of the fiber optic installers, to
for example through the development of manuals or work specifications, etc.
Conduct house inspections to determine where our network components are located
Respond to customer inquiries regarding planned construction work inside and outside
the building
Technical documentation of inspections in our systems
Carry out house introductions, surface restoration of the building and minor
construction works in the NE3 area
Assembly of the network components (HÜP, GFTA, ONT) in the building
Blowing in, splicing, patching of fiber optic cables for house connections,
backbone and FTTS work
Conduct OTDR and attenuation measurements and derive troubleshooting actions
Creation of documentation and delivery in our systems
Qualifications
Completed technical training in the field of telecommunications, radio and
television technology, electrical engineering or similar field
Several years of professional experience in the assembly of cable networks as well as splicing and
measurement of fiber optic cables and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables
NE3 experience – from PoP/HVT to the building/customer basement
Team player with a high service orientation and a careful and responsible attitude
working
Routine in handling technical equipment to create house connections and
record recorded data
Possession of a B driving license and flexibility for overnight travel
